Partnership with Single Stop USA

Last year, Single Stop USA, Inc. and ReServe began collaborating on a “Start By Asking” campaign aimed at increasing the utilization of effective but under-utilized poverty fighting programs, including but, not limited to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). ReServists were trained to enhance the effectiveness of the SNAP Campaign. ReServists provided advocacy, outreach and enrollment support at designated Community Based Organizations. In March 2018, ReServe recruited additional ReServists to serve as Benefits Outreach and Enrollment Coordinators for this campaign. They were specifically recruited to serve at the Mobile Health Medical Services which has multiple locations including one in midtown Manhattan.
