Laura Traynor oversees the program development and social impact areas of ReServe. Laura has an amazing capacity to see possibility, to conceptualize programming and to build innovation from whole cloth. A prolific reader and writer—Laura advances the cause of ReServe through development of foundation, federal and local grants.
Prior to joining ReServe, Laura was the Executive Director of the Center for Aging in Place that served as a regional hub for communities building new programs to help people remain at home and in community as they grow older. She also launched and led the Transition Network's Caring Collaborative demonstration project that expands the role of caregiving to the broader community by mobilizing the experience and good will that exists in all communities.
Laura also has 15 years of experience developing health education and advocacy programs to drive adoption of new guidelines and practices among physicians, nurses and other allied health professionals.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from St. Bonaventure University, a Master's Degree in social policy and aging from State University of New York, and is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Westchester.
